We have over 100 Beanie Babies that are not on this site. |
I made a lot of girl dolls but, I have only one in Sydney. The rest were all sold. I have an unfinished small Jumeau doll which needs assembling and dressing. |
Welcome to Bears n Dolls. I created this site to catalogue my bear and doll collection in case of fire, theft or hurricane damage [insurance purposes]. |
We're Australians living in Florida, U.S.A. My husband and I came to the States in 1991. The bears on this site have been collected since then. |
Most of the porcelain dolls were made by me. We have many antique dolls in storage in Sydney. We brought only a few small dolls with us. |
You'll see that I'm partial to boy dolls. I think the reason for this is that there were not many boy dolls made 90 to 100 years ago nor today. |

I'm a member of the Steiff Club U.S.A. As you progress through this site you'll notice I have quite a few Steiff bears. In my opinion, Steiff is the 'Rolls Royce' of the Bear Industry. The pin on the left was a gift to Members in 1995/96. Members now receive a Miniature Bear each year. A terrific 'deal' with annual dues at $US 50.00. Click pin to visit Steiff USA. All but 2 photos were taken with a Ricoh 5300 Digital camera [most without flash] which I think is superb for this type of subject and for the internet. |
